The Duck Downpickers is an Australian Old-Timey outfit. Consists of three people, Gerry McDonald - vocals - banjo - foot percussion; Jonathan Ashley - vocals - guitar - harmonica; and Clayton Jacobson - vocals - double bass. 
We play a mix of home cooked mountain music of the Appalachians infused with a dash of jug, cajun, gospel and country blues.
All tracks performed acoustically and recorded live in September 2013.

The SiTTiNG DUcKS is an acoustic duo. It consists of Gerry McDonald and Jonathan Ashley. We perform a mix of old timey, country blues, primitive gospel and cajun songs. This set was recorded by Mark Lowrie live without amplification on 22 May 2011 at the beautiful Penny School Gallery & Cafe in Maldon Victoria Australia.
This photo shows us performing at a later gig with Clayton Jacobson sitting in on double bass. More recently we have invited Clayton to turn the SiTTiNG DUcKS into a trio.
