Karpe-DM - Hardstyle Time Machine (The Engineer Remix)

Known for his dark and filthy sounds Ben Sander aka The Engineer is a passionate DJ, producer & programmer for whom a crossbreed of inspiration is derived from techno, drum & bass, hardstyle and Industrial. Over the last 10 years he has earned his place to be one of Australia’s respected producer & DJ in the hard electronic dance industry. He is best known for his work as a producer, sound designer & synth programmer in both Projects The Engineer, Hellraiser, Klasic & Sanders and Ad Nauseam.

His career started at a very early age in 2001 as Devil’s Ear / Klasic & Sanders. The group armed with a basic computer & synth embarked on producing and DJing all forms of hard electronic music. Over the course of two years the project had taken on various changes in sound, pushing towards a darker tone. In 2002 the project signed up to Future Sound Corporation with their hard trance hit Space Odyssey followed by a number of vinyl and cd compilations.

In 2004 Ben left the K&S camp and started up the HELLRAISER project, with longtime friend
DJ Hellraiser this project ended up being an even bigger success, The Hellraiser Project 
signed onto a few top hard dance labels releasing their major hits on, Uberdruck Records, Tracid Traxxx & StraightOn Recordings. The project landed many overseas gigs supporting LAB4 & Proteus at Brixton Academy in UK, Zurich Street Parade, Decibel and Inqontrol along with working on remixing duties for Q-Dance / Inqontrol – Sound Expander anthem.

During the time of 2006 / 2007 Ben had the privilege of absorbing a large scale of the Dutch scene when he spent time in the Netherlands co-writing with & for artists (Dblock & Stefan, Kalashnikov, Pila & The Scientist) and producing nine intro set trailers for the Polish event “Masters Of Hardstyle” 2007. 
Working solid in the Netherlands led him to produce a track with longtime friend Frank Ellrich (A*S*Y*S) together producing a remake of Tracid Traxxx, A*S*Y*S – Acid Head Cracker released on FE Recordings. 

2010 / 2011 Opened new doors for Ben Sander, moving away from the HELLRAISER project and deciding to build his own name as a solo artist. He started up a fresh new project titled The Engineer, based on the character in the Hellraiser movie. Already being a known face with StraightOn Black Recordings  The Engineer Project was immediately signed to Thilo & Evanti label Analogue Is Dead releasing his hard tech trance slammer Slaughter Phunk.

His work can also be heard throughout some of the PHARMACY CD’s, contributing to the producing, sound mixing and mastering stages.
