THE ESSENCE is a Psychedelic Rock Band based in Arambol Goa India . The Combo plays exclusively improvised music during their concerts .
The Band was initially formed by ATTILA MANJU (Vocals & Bass) the legendary leader of the Arambol Live Music Scene for over 25 years . Later on , NELIO ONEYED (Drums) and MANU FERRANTINI (Guitar) joined ATTILA to form the band's actual line up .
NELIO ONEYED and MANU FERRANTINI have a common past in their musical career as they were members of 2 famous french underground bands of the late 90's " ONEYED JACK " & " WATCHA " that were managed & booked by the same crew " SRIRACHA SAUCE " (Lofofora-Eths and many others)
The solid trio has been joined by BREGER (Sound Fx & Ambience Shaping) , a german DJ/Producer that they met recently during his indian tours , this gives THE ESSENCE the particularity to have 3 members that are also part of the ELECTRONIC MUSIC scene as NELIO & MANU are among the most active DJ/Producers in Goa during the past 5 years .
