Take The Streets (raw)

THE EXSENADORS is an antifascist and pro working class punk band from Quezon City, Philippines. The band was formed in the summer of 2003, headed by Thomas, with Ansel, Simon and Paulo as the original lineup. The band started out playing in gigs covering songs from the 4skins, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Demob, The Business and Urban Bandits. After writing sufficient materials, the band released the demo, "Oi! We're Skinheads" in 2003. To date, we have released a full length album and two EPs, a split album (in tape format) with AninoKo (SF) and took part in various compilation albums released locally and internationally. Currently, we are in the process of writing new materials for our upcoming second full length release

THE EXSENADORS plays Oi!, street punk, hardcore and everything in between. We don't really like to classify our musical style. We try to incorporate our diverse musical influences in our songs. What is imporant is we love what we play.

THE EXSENADORS stands with the struggle of the working class, the peasants and the oppressed peoples of the world against Capitalism. We commit ourselves for the advancement of people's rights and welfare and for the achievement of social justice. In one way or another, we are involved in social movements here in the Philippines and abroad.
