"Coming Home"  is an outtake from Blitzen Trappers new album VII.  "With this track we wanted to lay down some good old-fashioned country funk, with horns and banjos side by side," Eric Early says. "It recalls the swampy truck stop sounds of Jim Ford or Mac Davis, telling ourselves that home is just around the bend."

Playing London, ON Thursday nights @ Poacher's Arms. Formed in 2004 as an acoustic guitar/djembe drum duo, The Fairmonts have been acoustically melting faces at live weekly gigs in and around London, ON for the past 13 years. The band recently released an anniversary album of original roots-influenced material, containing remixes of a few classics along with 4 new recordings. The project was mixed by Juno Award winner Darren Magierowski of Jukasa Studios fame.
