‘Nandakke?’ is the anticipated debut album from Japanese-Belgian duo @ailimakesmusic on @eskimorecordings, featuring 10 tracks of surreal electro-pop, joyful electronica, house music and more. 

Lead track ‘Nandakke?’ is sung in the unique version of Japanese that singer Aili Maruyama and her father created to stay connected when she left Tokyo for Europe aged seven. The song goes out to all people with families living in different countries who are finding a way to stay in touch even when language is a barrier. 

“‘Nandakke?’ Is a Japanese word that roughly translates to "Well, what was it?”, often used when you are looking for a specific word," says Aili. "The song is about the language I speak with my dad, a mix of French and Japanese."

British chill-out veteran Phil Mison (Cantoma, Reverso 68) shares his new track ‘End Of The Day’ under the Ambala-moniker, for which he’s currently working on an album on Music For Dreams.

The new track sees Phil collaborate with Danish producer duo WALTHER & OliO while enlisting trumpetist Kasper Tranberg who hangs his gorgeous wafts of melody on a blissed-out downtempo beat. Chill-out music as Mison does it best, recalling his seminal Balearic work as Cantoma.
 
The forthcoming forthcoming LP, titled Volume 2, is set to come out in the beginning of 2025.
