The Fire Tapes are a Rock & Roll band. “A pretty f*cking killer combo of morose southern gloom and fuzzy indie-jams;” a wild, sprawling landscape of sound. They experiment with sonic textures and noise in the tradition of the Velvet Underground and Sonic Youth. Their music is hard to put a label on, but one thing’s for sure – it’s got a Rock & Roll heart. The Fire Tapes are currently putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to their debut record Dream Travel, released in 2011.
