The album is a cosmic psychedelic journey through the hyperspace and back by two wall-breaking out there artists/producers coming back together. Grammy Award winning producer Youth: highly respected music writer/producer, sonic pioneer, and founder and bassist of Killing Joke; and Gaudi: international dub master and maverick producer of note. Two bass leviathans duelling their way through sci-fi, psychedelic dub space... and the resulting album is truly a testament to the duo’s synergy.

‘Stratosphere’ is an alchemical showcase of spacious dimensions, a masterclass in weaving it up right and keeping it tight, with signatures and sounds from both pioneering producers, transmuted by each other into something unique and full of absolute joy and grooviness!

Label veterans Looney Grandpas return to Mindspring, offering up another zany psychedelic adventure, Straight Outta Looney Bin. This enthralling journey marks the Grandpas' third release on the label, following 2021's Looposuction [MSM104] and 2022's Slavic Solstice [MSM111].

This time, the eccentric Croatian duo Emir Cehaic and Goran Goldberger present us with another impressive psychedelic adventure; 9-tracks of chunky head-boppin' midtempo grooves set the stage for a variety of tribal, dubby ethno-world sounds woven throughout. The same expert-level sound design we got familiar with in their previous productions reliably presents itself in full bloom for Straight Outta Looney Bin.

Looney Grandpas have created a wacky, intriguing fusion of psychedelic and organic sounds for this release. These funky rhythms and tribal fusions are an impressive follow-up to their previous work for the label and are a real treat to listen to.

Bluetech returns with a new single "Echoes of Orion" featuring the legendary Laika the Cosmonaut. The track takes us on a mesmerizing journey through the cosmos, with Laika exploring new galaxies and encountering luminous entities and undiscovered worlds. As a parable of transformation and change, Laika's story is a fitting voice for these times, and Bluetech is proud to continue her narrative.

This single also features two fantastic remixes by Misled Convoy and Somatoast, each adding their own unique touch to the track. Misled Convoy brings a deep atmospheric dub soundscape and intricate sound design to the remix, while Somatoast takes us on a psychedelic journey with his mesmerizing production and hyper-intelligent beat production.

The artwork for the single, created by Bluetech himself, features Laika the Cosmonaut gazing out onto a new world in the shadow of the Orion nebula, ready to continue her journey. "Echoes of Orion" is the first single in a series of releases that will be compiled for the final vinyl and full album release, providing unique perspectives from which to experience the album.

The World Of The Soul album symbolizes a person's spiritual journey through four transformative stages.
"Rising Sun" represents the initial awakening, the realization that our existence extends beyond the physical body. This marks the beginning of a deeper understanding of self and consciousness.

Following this, "Vibration Nation" signifies the recognition that the universe is in constant motion and everything is in a state of vibration. It reflects the understanding that we are not just individual waves but the entire ocean of existence.

Next, "Word of the Soul" marks the stage where the traveler reaches the limits of human comprehension, shedding worldly illusions and entering a realm of deeper truth. This represents a profound shift in perception and understanding.

Finally, "Natural State" is the stage where the traveler realizes their true essence, returns to their center, and frees themselves from the constraints of personality. It signifies the culmination of the spiritual journey and the attainment of true self-awareness.

With 30 years of dub production experience and seemingly a lifetime historically working alongside Youth, Alex Paterson’s The Orb remix seems a natural choice to start off this compilation. 
Starting things off with an intro that sounds as though it’s plucked from the original Star Trek series, they run the gauntlet of tribal rhythms, sound fx, telephone rings, vocal stabs, commentary and utilise the vocoder with the ease and grace of an Olympic 100m sprinter.

Mario Engel, hailing from the green valleys in the middle of the Swiss Alps, was always in contact with different genres and had a good ear for many kinds of music. Now, with his “The Flying Mars” project he wants to channel all of his auditory and composing experiences into a mind-bending mix of creativity, giving his contribution to the already variegated world of electronic music.

The Flying Mars combines Psy-Dub, Ambient, Psy-Chill, as well as Drum & Bass and Psy-Trance, with flowing rhythms and deep bass lines. Through variations, mixing, tests and sonic atom splitting, The Flying Mars’ project strives to simultaneously stimulate mind, body and soul.
