This month the Forge Podcast has grown to include preview tracks from five artists and groups appearing at The Forge during April. Covering a wide spectrum of musical genres, we start with a track from gypsy swing group “Ta Mere”, followed by a clip by experimental jazz quintet “World Service Project”. From here we move to the classical side of The Forge, with music from “Ensemble Amorpha” before heading up north for taste of Manchester jazz quintet “Magic Hat Ensemble”. To end this installment of the podcast we turn to all things funk with a track from “Nectareen”.
