Punks Reformasi Luncurkan Lagu dan Video Musik "Bali Bersama JRX"

DENPASAR - Kasus yang menimpa I Gede Ary Astina alias Jerinx atau JRX SID hingga membawanya menghuni sel penjara menimbulkan keprihatinan bagi keluarga, rekan, sahabat serta para penggemar. Solidaritas untuk penggebuk drum Superman Is Dead (SID) itu pun bermunculan, tak terkecuali dari para penggiat musik punk di Bali yang terkumpul dalam wadah Punks Reformasi. Bentuk solidaritas mereka tuangkan dengan merilis lagu sekaligus video musik berjudul "Bali Bersama JRX".

"Lagu ini adalah bentuk solidaritas juga penyemangat untuk Ary Astina a.k.a JRX SID, dan semua orang yang memperjuangkan kebebasan berpendapat, berekspresi, karena tidak ada standar ganda untuk itu," tutur si penulis lirik lagu ini, Roy Djihard. 

Dalam konteks perkara Jerinx, Punks Reformasi berpendapat harusnya suami Nora Alexandra itu bebas atau lepas dari jeratan hukum. Meski keputusan hakim berbeda, dan akhirnya menjatuhkan vonis penjara terhadap Jerinx. 

"Hal itu yang menjadi salah satu pemicu tercetusnya ide untuk penggarapan lagu "Bali Bersama JRX". Disaat semua diam, JRX maju terdepan menyuarakan ketidakadilan dari ibu hamil yang harus kehilangan bayinya hanya karena harus melewati proses rapid test kala itu, dan akhirnya menyeretnya ke penjara," jelas vokalis dari The Djihard ini. 

"Walaupun JRX berhasil dibungkam, namun semangat perjuangannya selalu akan dikobarkan minimal di tanah kelahirannya, Bali," sambung Roy Djihard.

Berbicara konsep lagu "Bali Bersama JRX" sejatinya telah dipersiapkan oleh Roy Djihard dipenghujung tahun 2020. Namun baru terealisasi penggarapannya di bulan Maret 2021. "Untuk proses penulisan lirik, aransemen musiknya sudah dari tahun lalu. Dan di bulan Maret 2021 kami garap bersama di Devan Studio, termasuk juga proses mixing dan masteringnya," kata Roy Djihard. 

Proses produksi video musik sendiri ditangani oleh Purdana Scream dan Botel Torpedo, yang menjadi bagian dari Punks Reformasi dibawah bendera "Torpedo TV". Menariknya dalam video musik "Bali Bersama JRX", Punks Reformasi melibatkan Nora Alexandra, istri Jerinx. 

"Nantinya lagu sekaligus video musik "Bali bersama JRX" akan dirilis di basecamp Punks Reformasi di Pondok Baladewa secara live, Jumat malam, 20 Mei 2021. Launching event, kami masih menunggu schedule dari Twice Bar yang notabene adalah "rumah" dari JRX, dan memang akan lebih elok jika launching event ini akan digelar disana," lanjut Botel Torpedo. 

Roy Djihard dan Botel Torpedo mewakili Punks Reformasi menyatakan, rasa terimakasih untuk para pihak yang sudah membantu dan support, sehingga lagu dan video musik "Bali Bersama JRX" rampung. 

"Semoga ini bisa menginspirasi tentang rasa solidaritas persaudaraan, dan juga perjuangan untuk kebebasan berpendapat dan berekspresi, " harap Roy Djihard. 

Sekilas tentang Punks Reformasi. Mereka awalnya adalah wadah beberapa band punk di Kota Denpasar (Criminal Asshole, Reject, The Djihard, Rongsokan, Total Vandal, Rawback, Pendosa, Ranjau, Jahanam) yang ikut dalam barisan gerakan "Bali Tolak Reklamasi". Seiring berjalannya waktu, mereka bertransformasi menjadi komunitas yang kerap turun di berbagai kegiatan sosial. Juga menjadi band yang selalu menyuarakan perlawanan, kritik sosial dalam setiap penampilannya. 

Punks Reformasi diawaki oleh Yande Reject, Jayak Criminal, Roy Djihard, Gus Surya Vandal, Katox Freedom, Defuckingdick, Tongzhell, Turah Rawback, Lengar reject, Yuve tham, Shynta Bagwel, Pecon Ranjau, Bego, Perdana scream, Botel Torpedo dan Dek Jerink.
