Nawiązując do przyjętej przez twórców estetyki gry – jej prostej czy też uproszczonej formy graficznej, pewnej umowności, symboliki, ustaliliśmy wspólnie, że oprawa dźwiękowa powinna nosić odpowiadające tym założeniom cechy.
Tak więc wiele dźwięków gry jest “uproszczonych”, o celowo zmniejszonej charakterystyce barwowej, “zdławionych” niską głębią bitową i częstotliwościami próbkowania.
Z uwagi na istotny element fabularny i związany z nim koncept naszego (gracza) położenia względem świata gry, SuperHot nie posiada muzyki rytmicznej, lecz utwory z pogranicza soundscape’u i muzyki akusmatycznej, pogłębiające doznania emocjonalne i osadzające gracza w zastanej rzeczywistości SuperHota w sposób możliwie naturalny.

Qualia (2010), 33 MIN
Stereo down-mix of six 4-channel site-specific compositions for the 'Ugly Duckling' exhibition by the artist 'OK' in London, Blackall Studios, 73 Leonard St, Shoreditch, EC2A 4QA 30.10 - 5.11.2010.

Over half-hour long work was presented in a loop throughout the duration of the exhibition. Four-channel format enabled the guests to bath in a mixture of both very subtle and quite aggressive sound structures corresponding with the works, the movement of the dynamic installations and interactive lighting. Philosophical approach to subjectivity in the context of individual and group perception and following interpretations of particular events and their environments were examined and experimented on by both artists (me and OK). Particular subjective quality of the experience induced in the witness of an interactive audio-visual forms provokes a question about their 'objective' value and character. To what degree one's opinion is affected by the others – through their own opinions but also simply through their presence? Fascinated by the concept of 'qualia', I decided to experiment with the viewer-listener to some extend. In the same time I looked for interactions and crossing points with the presented works as well as the site itself.

3. Lost again inspired by Skype conversations with the artist. Travelling across OK's universe or my own's head maybe?

4. 'Fighting the Big Machine'. A small battle with OK's inner consciousness or maybe his battle with the concrete world or maybe just one of me with him...
