Everything starts in 2008, when Andre (bass) and Andrea (drums) decide to play music together in their free time, mostly for fun, involving in their musical adventure two friends: Daniele and Marco. This is how the “Crazy Minds” are born…… After a few months the group loses his singer so Andre decides to propose to his brother Davide (vocals) to join the group. Afterwards, in 2009 the "Crazy Minds " have to solve another problem: Daniele leaves for a work for several months…so, to make up for the absence of the guitarist, the band begins to play with Lorenzo (guitar), a friend of Davide, which quickly takes the place left vacant by Daniele. In 2010 the "Crazy Minds" start to get noticed in Turin, playing live in clubs and in competitions for indipendent music. In October 2011 the band took up a collaboration with Giulio Placano (TDMC Records), changes his name in "The Geex" and starts to record his first EP. During the recording, a second guitarist, Enrico, joins the band, and then takes also part in the video shot of B.P. "The Geex" is also the title of the EP, coming out in august 2012. 2013 becomes the year in which the band presents its music to Italy, making whole Turin hearing its songs at the "We Can Live" @ Alcatraz Club, being also guests of Padiglione 14 and Cafè des Arts. Finally The Geex cross the Rubicon in April and make Rome dance in the live "All Roads Lead to Rome Live" at Contestaccio. 2013 first part ends with the epic concert in Tuscany at the "May in Art Concert", where the band is guest of "Premio Giorgio Gaber per le Nuove Generazioni.
