This was one of the first heavy songs I ever wrote. It sat on my laptop with no lyrics, bass, drums, vocals etc. Only had guitars. I decided enough was enough and this song had potential so a couple days ago I relearnt the song, and re-recorded it from complete scratch, adding bass, lyrics, vocals and drums in the process. The Delta Mars

Originally written and recorded on August 26, 2010 within a 45 minute timespan, 'Lunatic Park' was recently re-recorded on May 17, 2016 with some added instruments and a solo. With inspiration coming from The White Stripes 'Seven Nation Army' and it's descending pattern and it's simplistic style, using the same riff throughout most of the song etc. This song is credited solely to me (Josh Giesbrecht), as no other parties were involved in the production or recording of this song (or album). All instruments are real, no fake drum loops etc. Below is a list of the equipment used, and below that will be the lyrics! Enjoy
PS: Artwork is currently being sought out, if you or anybody you know can draw well, or photoshop etc. I will purchase a piece for use on the album!

Guitar/Bass - Schecter C-1 Silvertop Guitar/Danelectro '67 reissue guitar/Cort 'Action' Bass
Amp/Effects - Line 6 Spider III Amp, Vox StompLab guitar effects, DigiTech Digital Whammy, and for organization, a Boss Loop Station RC-3 (not used anywhere on the album, but is a must have for me)
Drums - Roland TD-11 V-Drums
Recording - Focusrite Pro Saffire 10 i/o preamp, Audix CX112B condenser microphone, Shure SM-57 cardioid microphone, all Fender cables, and most importantly a 2009 13" MacBook Pro running Logic Express.

Lunatic Park

Due to the high number of products these days that receive tremendous amounts of hype and with the high number of them failing to deliver, I've decided to do the opposite. It's called Un-Hype, and it fucking sucks. So may I introduce, a totally subpar, marginally mediocre "song" that some guy that goes by the name "The Delta Mars" created in his basement. He even called the song the same name as him. Pfft, la-fucking-da, a self-titled single, how original. Guy claims he plays all the instruments himself... Pretty obvious by the lack of talent across any instrument. So, decide for yourself, pity him, and please Like and Share this song if it tickles your eardrums in some sick way. He says he needs all the people he can to hear this and spread it around so he can "go somewhere with his music", but who cares, skip right by if you please... he'll never know.

I'm super excited to finally be releasing The Delta Mars' cover of the traditional classic, "The House of The Rising Sun". The song [which has been covered by many revered artists from Lead Belly, Bob Dylan to The Animals, who produced arguably the most well known version, which this cover is inspired by] has been around since at least the early 20th century, known to be sung by coal miners as early as 1905. Please give this song a listen, I've worked mighty hard to create what I consider something worth your listen, and I'd be genuinely pleased if you at least give it a chance. The House of The Rising Sun

After writing a vast collection of rock and acoustic songs, I decided to try my hand (again) at electronic music production, taking elements I love about rock, hard rock, and heavy metal, and combining that sound and style with synthesizers, I have tried to make a so called "Electro Rock" type song. Chasing Cars

I'm a 26 year old musician from Morden, Manitoba. I've been playing music for over 20 years, and recording for about 8 years. I started on piano at age 4, and started picking up other instruments throughout the years. I'm self taught in everything except piano. On this upcoming EP, the only music you will hear is 100% played by me, no loops, no bandmates, just me and my instruments. I started teaching myself guitar at age 14, bass at 22 as well as drums (although I rarely practice) and I've been self teaching myself to sing since I was 16, which is quite difficult haha. I also mix and master all of the recordings on a 2009 MacBook with Logic. I'm quite literally a one man project. Which means I need TONS of support and I need word to spread.
