2020|01 - The Composer's New Music Playlist

1980's inspired nostalgia. 
Co produced with my wife, Olivia Grant, as she recommended for me to change the original lead guitar part so it is more melodic and not loads of notes played in your face. I think it worked for the better.

I used my freedom to transform these old lyrics of the sweet Irish tune into a totally different melody over the song.
In the end It turned out to be a sort of hybrid mixed with Irish and Norwegian folk fusion

Singer Songwriter Performer Producer . I have  a humble studio JUST good enough to create demos for my library of originals.  I play all the instruments and record alone.  BUT I do perform with a full band live  Cheers !!
I have Also Started Making and adding  Videos For Fun.

I have a problem satisfying myself, I'm always wanting to do something better than before. When I come back to songs, I try to finish them no matter what, and if you still don't like it when it's finished, you learn something by working on it " ALVIN LEE. Eric Schultheiss is a graduate of The University of California Irvine School of Music, where he studied as a classically trained percussionist. As an undergraduate member of the Gassman Electronic Music Studio steering committee, Schultheiss collaborated with Drama and Dance departments to further the School of Fine Art's mastery of software for sound synthesis, sequencing, digital audio, and sound processing. 

Eric’s passion for ethic percussion permeates his electro-acoustic compositions for film and dance. As the Corona Conservatory of Music’s Head of Electronic Music, Eric mentors students in music theory, digital signal processing, psychoacoustics, and music publishing via social media.

Eric writes music that has lots of drums and other percussion instruments in it. 

He's been doing it since college where he was one of the first people to connect a Mac Plus to some really low quality samplers (you know, they were sounded really good at the time...)

The songs/compositions where pretty good, and a bunch of Choreographers and a few Drama Directors worked with him and a few other students to create some really cool multimedia pieces for dance and drama.

Eric's upgraded his gear since then and now uses Reaper on his Desktop computer and Audio Evolution on his Android phone when he is creating/recording.

He continues to work with students (young and old )that want to learn old and new school approaches to create music. They are creating some amazing pieces and he encourages you all to check their unique and developing artistic voices over the Corona Conservatory of Music (www.ccofmusic.org) and at the Ioniate Media Group's Website (www.ioniate.com)
