Argentinian duo Happy707 join up with Death Decay Magic this July to release six cuts entitled ‘Bodyworxxx’, including remixes from Filmmaker and Lbeeze.

Hailing from Buenos Aires, Happy707 is the DJ/producer duo of May Mc Laren and Tomas Palmariello, who formed in 2019, playing underground parties all over the Argentinian capital. 

As well as DJing, the pair also play a live set with samplers, synths, vocals and FX. 

With a raw sound influenced by the darker edges of EBM, Acid, Electro, and Techno, Happy707's output has taken them far and wide with releases on Clan Destine Records, New York Haunted, Oraculo Records, Pildoras Tapes, Discos Pato Carlos and Revolte (CH). 

The pair now joins Black Light Smoke's New York-based imprint, Death Decay Magic, following releases from The Hacker, Man 2.0, Daniel Holt, and the label boss himself.

French musician Jerome Tcherneyan and Czech performance artist Barkosina Hanusova have been performing together as Years of Denial since 2016, electrifying audiences with their fusion of post-punk and goth with EBM and industrial. It Sucks, their exclusive contribution to Curses' Next Wave Acid Punx DEUX compilation, smashes sawtooth synths, pounding drums and distorted vocals together in a typically aggressive and exhilarating fashion.

‘Todo Avaricia’ by Reka and the duo Imperial Black Unit is the result of an immediate and natural connection forged between the three artists, through a jam session that swiftly and intuitively yielded three tracks of stylistically diverse yet demonstrably cohesive sounds. Featuring the sampled voices of Che Cuevara, Pablo Neruda and original vocals by Reka herself, the EP plays the role of an urgent call to action against political and environmental injustice, conveyed via the musical substrate of new beat, industrial and EBM, fused into a landscape of techno and undeniably constructed for the dancefloor. The EP is rounded off with a heavy-hitting remix of the title track by the prolific Umwelt, in his signature dramatic style.
