Dandelions

This is a folk tale written by Will Lawton, Nikki Capp and Neil Muttock of 'The Home Fires'.  It was released on the album "This Too Shall Pass" in 2013.

The song tells the story of Morgan's Hill in Wiltshire (nr. Cherhill White Horse).  The hill was originally called Crocombe Down.  In 1720 John Morgan was hanged on the hill for the murder of his uncle - the hanging was witnessed by hundreds of local people and the hill has been know as Morgan's Hill ever since.

'Diamonds on the soles of her shoes' was written by Joseph Shabalala and Paul Simon and released on the album 'Graceland' in 1986.  This recording was performed live by 'The Home Fires' at Seend Acoustic Club, Wiltshire, England on 19th June 2012.  The musicians include Neil Muttock (acoustic guitar and stomp box), Will Lawton (vocals and lap percussion) and Nikki Capp (vocals).
