A new song I'm working on called "Right Hand Man", dedicated to my Dad.  I'm hoping to add, some bass/lead guitar at the end eventually, with maybe some form of drums.  But this is an early draft of the song.  Enjoy!

I wrote this song a couple of years ago, so I thought I'd finally record it.  It's simply about how certain objects or words can act as a time machine, and can take you right back to certain moments in time, whether they're good or bad.

The rhymes they paint a picture, one I know too well.  I wanted to escape, thought the world was against me.

I don't regret the sentences that I wrote, they're a mark on me.  How the songs they take me back, where I was sad I know feel happiness.

We're an acoustic/alternative band from Guildford - England. We've been heavily influenced by the likes of The Gaslight Anthem, Joshua Radin, Mumford &amp; Sons and Alkaline Trio, and try to accomodate for these influences in our music/pay homage to them accordingly; all the while retaining a certain quality gives 'The Idle Flames' a sound that is ultimately personal to us.
