On ‘The Turn’, Sangam engages all of his craftsmanship to immerse the listener in eight tracks delicate as the morning mist flowing above the worn and cracked pavements of the back-streets of metropolis. Glimpses of hope are as short lived here as they are easy to mistake with occasional puddle reflections of blinking neon signs that still fight to convey their message through darkness that swallowed up half of their letters.

RAPTASTIC is a collection of Experimental- Sample based rap songs recorded between 2022 and 2023. Influences of Soul Music, Hardcore Hip-hop, and R&B I listened to over the last few years are intertwined into the sound design. Each song is filled with condensed sample-heavy elements sounding grimey, live and cinematic. The beats are often minimalist and at other points sonically filled with a thick resonance. The lyrics are Impressive and tasteful. Each rhyme adds meaning to the next, creating a bouncing flow of thought. I tend to mix fun wordplay with sporadic tempo changes for depth and complex patterns.  After a whole lotta experimenting with simplicity and new sample techniques made this tape. I also incorporated live instruments and original noise-induced samples from my very own bedroom. ASHY EDDY IS THE MF TRUTH TOO THESE BEATS NO JOKE.

TAKE A MOMENT AND CHILL THE FUCK OUT. Life can be stressful and I encourage everyone to do what makes you happy. Life is short and your future self is counting on you! But resting and LIVING are important parts of each art. Teaching myself confidence and growing out of my shell won’t easy. The harsh truth hurts when spoken into existence! I've been brutally honest with myself and if you gonna keep it real with anybody keep it with yourself. Take this with you as you listen through. 
This is my third official album, all recorded in my bedroom. I don’t think I've had so much fun making a record but it also made it through much turmoil and hardship. Of course, I be scared of being queer and a rapper but I try to let it be a superpower and not a crutch. TAP INTO YO SUPERPOWERS. I PRESENT TO YOU MY BEST WORK YET RAPTASTIC.
