we are currently building a sequencer for the Korg Monotribe, controlling many features via MIDI.
it is in development, and coming along nicely yes :)

STE - 000 the first stupid name

been messing around with the beatstep pro, trying to set up knobs in a pleasing manner for remote control over the roland boutiques.
i did a stupid and wiped the entire beatstep memory and lost a fun track :(
so i quickly whipped this up ...

having enjoyed my previous arpeggiator track, here is another!
This one however is quite different, it features a single repeated arp BUT with 3 different versions overdubbed.
AND it's less than 3 minutes long.

I think the major differences between the 3 overdubs are LPF HPF BPF.

also one is bent down an octave, this is because after leaving the loop on for several hours, a certain daughter came in and touched something on the Beatstep, causing the pitch to change (even though it was not sending sequence, she sent some pitch cv and did something weird and I couldnt be arsed working out the notes.)

it's quite interesting also because partly the pitch of the piece is controlled by a slow square wave, it's not tuned cleanly and results in a non standard scaling.
