I know this is different from expected for some of you, Murtagh is a difficult character and a fan-favorite for sure. The idea for my Murtagh theme are two complementary string lines. They build a mood when played together. One String line symbolizes Murtagh good core, his desire to be free and to be loved and just to be a decent human being. The other is a representation of Murtagh darker sides. His anger, his striving for power etc. The balance between both lines can be changed to emphasize the current dominant force in him. I really liked the approach of two dedicated motifs to balance against each other. It's a simple solution to a character that is torn between two sides.
