When the angelic voices descend down the cloudy skies, the monks of O.A.C. are gathered for the Catechism of Salvation. Massive cathedrals are echoing with the distant chants that connect the dark Past with the perhaps even darker Future. The cogs and mechanisms of garganutan machines, blessed by the Techno-arcane preists, are moving with the flow of the Cosmic beat and the sacred chantings.

This album is partially and indirectly inspired by the fascinating Warhammer 30k/40k universe and lore.

Step into the depths of an uncharted journey with DUGA-1's debut album, 'Abyss', a Dark Space Ambient piece that oscillates between melancholic tranquility and haunting discomfort. Dark drones, hazy textures, and fragments of subtle melodies guide you through a labyrinth of introspection.

As I descended further into the depths, the rhythmic hum grew louder, reverberating through the dense air and resonating with an otherworldly energy. It seemed to penetrate every inch of the abyss, reflecting endlessly on the metallic structure beneath the planet's surface. The ancient tunnel glimmered with an ethereal glow, its iron skin adorned with intricate patterns that whispered tales of forgotten technology.

Drawing closer to the source of the soft radiance, a sudden shift in the air sent shivers down my spine. The subdued construct seemed to awaken, responding to my presence with a tangible pulse. For a brief moment, the faint hum ceased, only to be replaced by an eruption of dissonance and chaos, an earsplitting symphony that assaulted my senses.

Caught off guard, my vision blurred, and consciousness wavered as I struggled to grasp my surroundings. Gasping for air, I found myself entangled in a momentary abyss, suspended between the echoes of the cacophony and the endless void that awaited me.

A 2 hour dark soundscape album recorded by over 20 ambient artists to pay tribute to H.P. Lovecrafts Mythos

Rhan-Tegoth is a fifteen foot tall, medusa-like, insectoid amphibious god-being (Great Old One) of little power but vital to the return of the Old Ones. It lived in the warm seas of Yuggoth before coming to Earth.

Come journey deep into the underground depths, where long forgotten temples guarded by insectoid creatures stand untouched by human curiosity

"They found the box in the basement of the British Museum. Inside it there was a leathery integument, like some muddy garb from pre-history. It was essentially colourless but with an underlying mottled green lustre. Jenkins, the anthropologist, was somewhat mesmerised by it. It was as if he had discovered something of great value, like some antique ceremonial shroud for an ancient bloodletting rite.
Maybe he had.
But Professor McIntyre was more of a mind that its anatomical qualities were of much more interest than its mystical aura. Especially so because there was nothing about the integument that seemed to correspond to the standard taxonomies of animal life."

So is this a compilation?
No, this is a collaboration and huge undertaking. Over 20 artists linked studios and sound for over a year so that they could work with each other. This led to a deep collaborative exploration of the Mythos and Rhan-Tegoth

An exploration of the invisible architectures shaping perception, Perceptual Geometries maps the shifting relationship between sound, space, and the listener.

Across its movements, evolving atmospheres and pulsing undercurrents intersect with hypnotic tonal structures — forming patterns that seem to dissolve as soon as they’re recognised.

This is not music to simply hear, but to inhabit — a framework for altered states, where geometry becomes sensation and perception becomes form.

Perceptual Geometries unfolds as a continuous study of sound, space, and perception — a journey where each track acts as a chamber within a larger structure.

It begins in stillness with Resonant Axis and Inverted Symmetry, opening a meditative space where form and emotion hold in perfect balance. Gradually, shadows and tension emerge in Fractured Horizon and the dense, uncharted descent of Vector of Silence.

Midway, Ecliptic Drift marks an awakening — colour and movement flooding the architecture — before Vanishing Meridian offers transcendence and emotional release. Spectral Coordinates follows as a slow navigation toward uncharted worlds, leading to the quiet self-reflection of Topology of Memory.

The closing piece, Phase Architecture, expands outward into open air, suggesting that the geometry continues beyond the final tone — an unfinished map still resonating in the listener’s mind.

Perceptual Geometries is not background music; it is a framework for deep listening, where sonic form becomes sensation, and perception shapes its own architecture.

This sequence starts in stillness, dips into mystery and intensity, blooms into awakening, and ends in spacious release — a clear arc for both emotional and spatial listening.

After a brief Hiatus (I have been busy, stay tuned my friends)I bring you a classic Audraulic style dark ambient track. The original drone is made from a field recording of a helicopter (and a bit of jiggery pokery!) the vocal sample is a time stretched sample that I chopped up and the rest is just me doing what I do.
