As you might noticed we do like Lauer a lot at LYO ! Few weeks ago we featured Phillip on @emotional-especial with a premiere of his S-Fire remix.  He's now back with his brother Jacob for a full four-tracker ep under their mighty Hotel Lauer project, known for its taste for percussion, synths and drums. Things starts with the most club friendly and definitely head-rushing track ever on Especial, in "Tamzarian" here premiered. Acid, tick. 909, tick. Piano, tick. The sound of the summer encapsulating in 6 and half pulsating minutes. Pacha terrace, free party dew covered fields, Barbarellas sunrises. We already feel like it's Tisno !

In the midst of the desert there was little sign of any life. They watched out from their land cruiser towards the burning sand and gazed upon what could only be described as a holy hell. This was supposed to be a place of great miracles, of beauty and towering glory. However, for now it was simply a burning expanse of open wasteland in the back end of nowhere. The jeep's engine spluttered slightly as they moved off towards the dying sun, they were but a little black shadow against a backdrop of eternity. 

Curses is a producer whom we have been supportive of at Ransom Note for many years, his music blurs the lines between house, techno, krautrock, italo and all sorts of other obscure experimental fringes. This new EP for Wrong Era is fierce.
