Strange Kind of Day

A song with a simple hook. The inspiration came from hearing Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone," and combining it with the loud/soft dynamics of the Pixies. After hitting a mental block for a few hours, the opening line in the lyrics came to me after listening to the song "Locked out of Heaven," from Bruno Mars.
