Lost Memories

Underwater Sleep Orchestra is a new project by Pär Boström of Cities Last Broadcast/Kammarheit, and Bruce Moallem of God Body Disconnect. Music for lost dreamers and admirers of solemn underwater music, previously only heard in dreams.

The album is presented as two different dreams from the same night. One a nightmarish trip within blurry worlds and one a nostalgic journey about things real and unreal, both carefully expressed through synthesizers and pedals, cassette experiments and field recordings. All music finally processed through VHS tape.

Quick disclaimer: I didn't make the first half of the music, it was composed by Danny Baranowsky for the game Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb. The second half is where my stuff comes in, and this is not how it sounds in-game. It appears as a layer when encountering a lot of enemies in a room. The first half is just for reference for the people who haven't heard the music before so yeah, just lettin ya know!

This is the sixth track for my community soundtrack mod: The Binding of Isaac: Sacrilege. I don't really have specifics to go into about these tracks, they kinda just fell into place while I was making them, took a good year to really get something I was content with, and here they are now! I hope you enjoy!

Cryo Chamber welcomes Iranian Mehdi Saleh from Alphaxone back with his 4th album on the label. A space voyage ambient album of drone mixed with electronic overtones and a healthy dose of field recordings. 

Echoes from Outer Silence take us through space and to the archaic signals of civilizations beyond the stars, Mehdi this time packing some serious analogue warmth to his droney dreamscapes. 

He once again polishes up his already splendid sound quality and excellent production to reach new heights. This is an album best enjoyed when relaxing with a cup of freeze dried coffe in zero G.

Alphaxone - Sphere Of Change

Tineidae (Poland) serves us a space ambient album thick with analogue sweeps and evolving walls of sound.

The derelict mothership is massive, its silent shadow swallowing your cutter-ship as you connect with the airlock. Inside, rusted bulkheads sing like whales from deep within as they reverberate with lumbering creaks. Your flashlight flickers in the dark as you wipe the smudge off a wall-mounted map. Better get the power online or you'll never be able to access the backup logs. NG-section is two floors down. Time for another spacewalk.

Your MD-233 exosuit gets you climbing the ship's exterior with little effort. Parts of the ship have been blown off, scattered across space from the impact all those years ago, revealing the skeletal remains of the eco-hub and launch pad. Makes you wonder what happened to those left behind without food. The distressed messages coming out of there were censored, but it must have been bad for them to have brought in a black market contracter to wipe them from the mainframe before the repair crew arrives.

Recommended for fans of space journeys, supernovas and arpeggiated swells.
