Introducing STEINGOLD, the LA-based electronic music producer who honed his skills in the legendary Detroit Techno and Hip Hop scenes of the 90s and 2000s.

Having partnered with none other than Mike D (Beastie Boys) and toured the world DJing at major festivals, STEINGOLD is now ready to unleash his highly anticipated solo project, the ELEVATE EP.

With a track record of successful collaborative releases on labels like Stones Throw, Visionquest, and House of EFunk, the ELEVATE EP marks a significant milestone for STEINGOLD, as it showcases his skills as a solo artist. The EP features an all-star lineup of collaborators, including rising star Byron The Aquarius, and legendary Chicago House producer Mike Dunn, who both lend their expert touch to remix the title track, "ELEVATE."

But that's just the beginning. "THEY LIVE" is a moody electro tune that features Elton John's touring keyboard player, Kim Bullard, and Charlie Wilson's (Gap Band) trumpet player Brandyn Phillips. STEINGOLD samples his neighbors cheering on essential workers during COVID lockdowns, adding a powerful and emotional dimension to the track.

The ELEVATE EP is a heartfelt journey through STEINGOLD's Detroit roots and influences in electronic music and rap. The title track, "ELEVATE," was created as a modern Hip House track, with STEINGOLD and Nate Husser (+1 Records) having a conversation about Booty music before jumping into the booth, and recorded before the current trend of Rap/R&B and House.

"HBF" is a slapping house jam that pays homage to Kevin Saunderson's "Inner City". All tracks on the EP were started during the COVID lockdown and finished at Owl Foot Ranch Studios in Tarzana, CA and features additional production by Jean-Michel LaPointe.

In short, the ELEVATE EP is a must-listen for fans of electronic music and rap alike. With its impressive lineup of collaborators, powerful emotional undertones, and expertly crafted beats, it's sure to leave a lasting impression on listeners.

‘Parasol Dance’ embodies the musical headway and fruition Fabio experienced exploring different soundscapes and rhythms in his London based studio this last year. 
The crisp analogue cuts in the album are peppered with Monesi’s organic evolution from the New Jersey sound drawing inspiration from Jazz, Funk and even Acid/Jackin' House, all the while never faltering on the end product of raw undulating grooves.

She however, was a perfect ocean of calm, a flickering candle in a room packed with bright sparks and heated flames. Her sensuality was somewhat overpowering for those in the room who sat alone, she was provocative yet unattainable. Do the math...

His three original tracks are ranging from house, breakbeat to electro but all of them come with a nice twist. Jazzy chord & odd vocoder sounds accompany a cosmic soundscape on the EP starter 'Lift Point' and with tweaked chirps & eastern strings on a bare breakbeat, 'The Time Capsule Experiment' is definitely the most leftfield one on this EP. Closing off the release is the sinister electro 'Solace' of which we can only imagine a demon-summoning tribal ritual was the inspiration. 
The EP comes with two remixes. Jeigo's rethinking of the title track is a meetup of two worlds: an aerial stomper for closing your set in the early morning hours. The dubby trance remix of 'Lift Point' is from the label boss Route 8 - his synth pads have never been so trippy like this!
