THE KOBRA KICKS HAS RELEASED A POST-PUNK REVIVAL SINGLE

The Finnish rock band The Kobra Kicks has released a fresh single, Silhouette of Her Figure. The track was recorded and produced in the band’s own studio and is their second single.

Silhouette of Her Figure covers that one relationship which after an ugly ending perseveres to torment, garrotes with a bleak grip when all there was has indelibly ceased. In The Kobra Kicks’ post-punk revival the gloomy harmonies integrate into a murky sound in the spirit of Arctic Monkeys and Interpol.

The Kobra Kicks’ previous publication Krokodil was recognized by music blogs around the world in the spring of 2013. Since then the band has been silently refining themselves towards a more produced sound and downright lyric.

The Kobra Kicks - Krokodil

The Kobra Kicks is a five-piece band from southern Finland formed in 2013 in the suburbs of Turku.

The Kobra Kicks plays guitar driven rock music with their sound rooted in bands like the Libertines and Joy Division blended with some more American sounds like Interpol. The focus of the band is to create exceptionally catchy tunes and to present them live with crazy energy.
