Legacy of Future Generations

It was in the mid 2008 by a warm winter day .. (August 7th to be exact) that two long time friends decided to invest the attic of one of them... And there they found a drum kit made with cardboard with tissue cymbals and electric guitar buried under a ton of dust. After cleaning the place they found an 30watts amp (classy I know...). From this material, probably from the Middle Ages they bravely decided to try out a few notes not so bad. And to immortalize the moment (in case they wouldn't be able to come out of this slum) they filmed the first notes with a super 8 camera, a way to leave a legacy for future generations... Then after having managed to escape alive from it thanks to valiant efforts, listening only to their courage, they decided to put the videos of those magical moments(this kind of moment with nothing you can do a lot) on the internet ... For posterity of course, but also to know if they should continue to venture into the abyss of Rock & Roll!! It is a few days later (after his return from vacation) that another of their friends sneaked into the band to also make some noise. Then another was recruited to finish the line up of what would become (a few minutes later): The Kroket's The days passed and the Krokets that we are becamemore talented. The gear evolved too, from medieval instruments to "Epiphone" and "Cort" guitars and "Fender" and "Ibanez" bass guitar. And from shitty 30watts amps to "Marshall" 100watts and "Line 6" 250watts amps... The machine was launched, it remained for us to be known, and what better to do that than cover the songs of bands that have rocked our childhood?? But after we said: "It's really nice but if no one sees our videos it's useless..." (Yes we are full of wisdom ...) So for a max spread our "talent" we created a youtube page (http://www.youtube.com/thekrokets) and a myspace page (just where you are if you read this...) Then we kind of got bored of covers... So, as inspiration was not lacking in the band,our own songs came out pretty easily. As critics were mostly good we decided to seek a singer who,like us would be fan of music and fun jokes and macdo... Soon an ads were put everywhere on the web to find the one who would complete the line-up. And a few weeks later The Kroket's voice was officially found in the person of Cry Kroket!!! (Formerly Nasty Tracks' singer) It was a revelation!!! From this time the hits succeeded like hot-dogs in the mouth of a competitor in sandwich eating contest!! (Wow that's what I call a metaphor!!!!) That was the beginning of the amazing history of The Kroket's!!!! 
So to continue it,it's up to you... Watch our videos, listen to our songs and spread our name to all your friends, family, colleagues and even strangers on the street (why not )...
