Every Saturday night for over 12 years The Late Show has provided Melbourne punters with a rare and much loved clubbing experience. Nestled in the cosy surrounds of Revolver Upstairs, the weekly party unfolds over two rooms and many hours with an impressively diverse selection of talented local and touring DJs. Musically things progress from the early evening mellow soundtrack to diners at Revolver's renowned restaurant Colonel Tan's, through a self assured path of disco, boogie and afro beats on the way to Revolver's well known morning house in the back bar, while the front room kicks into action not long after midnight with cutting edge upfront bass driven sounds.

The atmosphere has long helped develop and nurture some of Melbourne's most talented artists, both behind the decks and in their production endeavors outside of the club night. Over the years The Late Show has released several production packages including the highly sought after Disco Edits volumes 1 and 2, plus the forward thinking TLS USB drives. Finally this year we have completed a 100% artist compilation, comprised entirely of original material submitted by producers directly associated with The Late Show.

The Compilation itself attempts to recreate the full musical gamut of the club night, from early soulful cuts to authentic disco and midnight boogie and on to upfront late night bass-lines. Artists including Crackpot, Inverto, Disco Harry, Booshank, Oss 3000, Planet Jumper, Paz, T-Rek and Mike Callander, DJ Crater aka Mr Moonshine, Lewis Cancut, Mat Cant, Nick Thayer and Spinfx all have something on there.

BOOSHANK - MATRIX 1000 (pt 1 of 2)

The Late Show every Saturday night at Revolver Upstairs over two rooms from 8pm until 8am.  Backroom rolls from 8pm sampling disco, boogie, cutups, afro, house and the rest.  Front room gets going from 1am with upfront club and bass sounds. Residents Ransom, Nick Thayer, Mat Cant, Paz and Who are joined by primo guests before Boogs, Spacey Space and the Revolver Sundays team.
