This is not our fault that we depended on some useless generation to bring us back into it all, real art...Not some diva or a DJ who cannot count and every beat just falls apart. They want you to pretend what you feel try to believe what they do is real..Is this some joke? Now the devil's on my wall again and I'm running out of my dime bag, I'm sleepless in hallucination, because in my mind, Space Rock fills the void in this music industry, it's so alive, the walls of sound keep me higher than the smoke or the sex, I'll put your love to the test... I went walking into autumn's mood where leafless trees around me stood, this wonderland had never been so beautiful,.. when I realized that those who try might soon begin to fall and die from all the fucked up art that we created. In this world we hope to inspire help those to flourish from the fire of those lost souls. 1 This Useless Generation

In my head I became half human, half machine, and for why can't socialize, and I find myself emotionless, but you talk to me and the words go into one ear and out the other side, into a void of unpromising advice. Now the final door into the scene is closing right in front of your two feet and all you can do is crawl up in your hole and snort some more of that crystal up your nose, and your fond of lies and have a conscious, you're following the line, but I won't be there when you pass into whatever's next to come. Well, are you free yet?...To walk into heaven like a loaded gun, you fucking hypocrite. Are you free yet?... To shadow all my life, like a stainless knife cutting into my abdomen. Radio play his favorite song so he can tell how the band had sold out come summertime. He only likes the music that looks like him and talks like him, that sounds like him..they made him, he pretends... 1 Demise Of Substance

Our policies pretend to provide guidance in our lives, but don't we understand their feeble attempts to hide away what really is? They left us on the outside, strewn all over, never able to come to know how this mess had begun. Just what kind of lessons can rationalize all of this? We're holding onto a precipice. This generation breeds atrocities like every one before, but in the end who will overcome? Is this what your God wanted? When you can't get enough, you'll only lose control and the walls will come tumbling down. But you said don't blame us, 'cause we're just a part of it, then may we all burn in flames together. I'm looking back into the radio track, all the styles match into one, and there's little room for thought. The 22 Experiment

You wasted away what little hope was left and you tried to escape but the water kept rising, and you cannot afford one more night without somebody close to guide you out of this misery and help you find your individuality, it's going down, but I could explain better in candlelight... If you want to experience something and are tired of feeling nothing, you gotta open your eyes wide and let your imagination take you for a ride... In the last corridor, you'll float off the floor and time will let you know how you flow. 'Cause you race against the world to show how you think that you've found all you want, but dandelions grow where you don't want them to. Now the lies are sinking through and you can't figure out how to stop believing everything that you're told. Now you're sick of it all, the values of life are diminishing and each day you fall more and more. Try dreaming from above rather than below, and let them see through you.

I have a one-way ticket to hell, finished a forty-day binge but I'm feelin' well. I'm taken back in material ways, with those leather pants on she says she just can't wait to roll. Innocent, if there were one who could stand up to this word, tell me where the others lie and how you came to stand alone. 'Cause I might be mistaken and you might be a saint, but if a saint truly existed, we'd have all been one to someone else. Stealing glances in every direction, wandering aimlessly in the back hall, and on the radio, songs will follow you...made you think about how your dreams never came true. But when we cross over now, I hope you'll show us how you stand out. Music shapes our society, you can take it or leave it, we won't wait and see. Break from the walls of the MTV song, reality can wait, we must address what's wrong.

You showed up last night tapping on the window pane of my room, you're floating on a cloud higher than I was at the piano side. When the window opened, you stepped inside, out of sight from those outside who might have cared. But you blame it on a higher discourse, we can blame it on a societal malfunction. Then you lay cards right out, let's go to bed or we die sad, we die from all the stereotypes that eat us alive and try to make us work from nine to five. The Music Yesterday (Remastered Song Sketch) 2010 Rough

The Lavellas are an atmospheric space rock band birthed in Denver, Colorado. The band's lineup consists of members Robyn Green (Guitars, Effects, Vox), Jason Mathews (Guitars, Effects Backups), Cory Cambell (Bass), and Spencer Kiss (Drums, Synths). The band was founded by Jason and Robyn and had Mike McDaniel on bass and Matt Amundson on drums during their first record entitled Cherish, and produced by Lance Bendiksen. Although recorded in nice rooms, Cherish was all but disgarded over a desire for a more raw, underground sound. Amundson left the band and was replaced by Spencer Kiss on drums and McDaniel departed to pursue Jazz and session work. Cory Cambell entered the band on bass guitar and the band began crafting their true atmospheric sound, dialing in vocals to audibly mesh with the other instruments to create a more 'wall of sound' effect.
         The result led to the band's second record, 2002's 'My Talk With The Dead', self-produced, mixed and mastered by Robyn and Jason on a small 16-track in the band's makeshift studio and sanctuary, Shyte Studios. The record received a bit more press and opened doors to larger Denver venues, allowing the band to become more involved in the Denver music scene.
         In 2003, the Lavellas relocated to Chicago, Illinois in search of a wider audience establishing a second home in Wicker Park and playing out frequently with occasional tours. In 2004, the band went to Paragon Studio in hopes of capturing a higher fidelity version of their sound, working with engineer Jack LeTourneau on'Distortion Story,' their third album. During recording, Cory decided to leave the band, endowing Robyn, Jason, and Spencer with determining the future. Robyn, Jason and Spencer went on as a trio over the next few years, recording in 2005 what would become a self-titled EP with engineer Ted Cho at Clava Studios Chicago. Special guest, Mike Perkins contributed vintage echo-plex noise soundscapes on the EP. In an interview with WZRD Chicago Radio, Perkins noted the band as a trio allowed more special clarity between instruments. The band continued to play out and craft their sound, which had become more complex and experimental. The Lavellas released the EP in 2006 and began composing music for another full-length album. In 2007, went to work with Keith Cleversey and Andy Bosnak at Playground Studio Chicago to record 'The Backhall Sessions.' Andy and the Lavellas spent the course of a few months recording and mixing new vibes. After the sessions, Robyn chose to relocate to Madrid, Spain in hopes of discovering greater influences and eventually carrying the band to an international level with more support. On January 13, 2008, the band played their final headlining show at the Metro in Chicago before Robyn departed the next day for Spain. In September 2008, Robyn returned to Chicago for a short tour with the band and in 2009, the Lavellas went to Madrid for a packed show at Moby Dick club. 
     Living in different cities, the Lavellas continued to find ways to pursue the band while embarking on side projects. Jason and Spencer founded dream pop group, The Rosen Association in Chicago and Spencer began a solo project, Bird Musuem. Robyn opened his studio in Madrid called Spaceland and devoted time to producing other groups while composing Lavellas songs and solo music. In February 2012, Robyn released his first solo record, 'Slowdown Deteriorate.' Jason moved back to Denver, CO and Spencer began playing drums for the Chicago-based Shoegaze band, Airiel. Robyn  relocated to Geneva, Switzerland.
        Upon releasing his second solo album entitled Then Came Dark, Robyn rejoined with the rest of The Lavellas back home to perform a couple more shows in 2016 and 2017, this time with Cory Cambell back on bass and different drummers sitting in for Spencer Kiss. And now… onto the future…
