It's possible the entire universe was created only last Thursday.  All memories existing only as part of a simulated past to support the reality of the present.  Or so it seemed to the Strangers.  Had they existed for a brief moment to achieve their shared goal of creating harmonious music?  The evidence supports that they did indeed exist.  But in a holographic universe, it is hard to say with certainty.  But these live rehearsals, live radio shows, and studio rarities makes it all much more believable.
