01 The Irritant

Our formative years! Here are a collection of songs written and recorded in 2001 post-University which formed the basis of our first band QUINT. This was the first collaboration between Rich, Rob & Simon and started in Simon's Mum's lounge (the first six songs are from a tape recorded there). After a year of writing as a trio we added drummer Stuart Bonner and went electric (see last four tracks). This all led to bRoKeN fAcE and THE LETTER. Enjoy our baby steps into a wider world of songsmithery...

Warning Letter

Active between 2002 and 2012, Sheffield's THE LETTER specialised in widescreen rock action and released one album 'Unknown Failures' before disbanding. They reunited for a one off gig in 2017 and the members have been in various music projects ever since. Here lie THE LETTER, listen up and weep for your loss!
