Recorded live on Jan 28, 2023 at Dolly Disco in Vancouver.  This is the first time we've played an all night B2B together and it ended up being one of most fun times either of us have had DJing.  We played 6 hours from open to close. This recording captures the arch of energy throughout the night, the spontaneity of trading 3 for 3, the imperfections/perfections of a live set and connection between dance floor and DJ. The Librarian B2B Mood Change -  All Night Long!  - Live @ Dolly Disco 01/28/23

The first mix in a series that explores the percussive heavy, polyrhythmic and syncopated styles of dance music that I obsess over. Percussive Persuasion Vol. 1  warms things up with some global influenced club tunes, then builds up to a rhythmic crescendo of Afro-Portuguese Batida, before winding down with some dreamy Baile Funk. All respect and thanks to the artists that are in this mix. Tracklist provided to encourage people to check out and support the musicians.

Andrea Graham, known professionally as The Librarian, is a pioneering DJ, producer, label owner, and festival founder who has established herself as one of bass music's most influential creative forces and tastemakers. As the co-founder and music director of Bass Coast Festival – internationally acclaimed for its innovative music programming and immersive installation art – she has built an inclusive electronic music community that resonates with audiences worldwide.

The Librarian's dynamic performances seamlessly traverse the full spectrum of bass music, deftly moving between 130 breaks and adjacent techno to UKG, deep dubstep, jungle, juke and drum and bass. Her sets are characterized by powerful low-end frequencies with nuanced melodic elements and an intuitive understanding of dancefloor dynamics, creating deep connections with audiences across the globe.
