Featuring the warm, soulful vocals of Jerry Clavier (J-Felix, Laroye), the self-titled debut EP from Brighton’s premiere 11-piece funk, soul and acid jazz collective the Gyratory Allstars was released in October 2024, achieving plenty of praise internationally and leading to rotational airplay on the likes of BBC 6 Music (Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show), Norman Jay (Soho Radio/Good Times), Jazz FM (John Osborne), Solar Radio, Mi-Soul, JazzFunkSoul and many more.


Now, fresh off-the-back of another high-profile run of live and festival performances across the UK in 2025, supporting everyone from the Sugar Hill Gang to Cut Capers, a series of remixes of the same EP will be released digitally in December, featuring dancefloor-focused soulful house and broken beat mixes from rising producers DJ WheelUP and Matica (Tru Thoughts), a peak-time breakbeat mix from the band’s flute player Jez Lloyd AKA Ink Project (Blind Colour/SonyBMG), including two other deep disco house and instrumental hip hop re-versions from various band members themselves, under their remixing moniker of Gyratory Soundsystem. 


2026 live shows are expected to be announced next year and the band are currently deep in the studio finishing more new material coming soon.


The Gyratory Allstars’ self-titled debut EP remixes will be available to buy and stream via their Bandcamp page and all of the usual places online from 12th December 2025!
