Nights are coming and going and faces appear and vanish, great plans are made and rarely held up to. While that is the mode that keeps the machine running, from time to time something greater can evolve out this fast paced spare time profession. That is to say, it is a great pleasure to smooth the way for our dear friend »Kleintierschaukel« and his »Blue Elephant«.

A rare species whose origins are found in »Motomia« (A1), that odd place where sticky clocks tick faster than time passes. Still all confusion is lost in the calm whispering of Juliette (A2), a harmony of strange confidence. Despite all its apparent harmlessness, it needs the soothing voice of our all beloved Leonie to let its vast figure withdraw to the rivers and show the gentle nature of this »Unterwassermann« (B1). Back in his element all notches are smoothed out and movements unite in a rythmic flow. This is not a documentary, this is the Blue Elephant: »TV Ende« (B2).

All echoisms aside: We are very happy to have Mr. »Valentin Stip« from Montreal himself contribute his interpretation of »Motomia« (D), a delicate dissection, reunited to a greater interaction of the most gentle kind.

Back in February, My Favorite Robot released an excellent full length album from accomplished DJ and producer Andrew Grant in his Naome guise. It proved a treasure trove of hits for dancers and DJs alike, and now the Canadian label revisit it for some expertly enlisted remixes. Speaking Minds, System of Survival, Nitin and Daniel Kyo all step up and breath plenty of their own unique character into the still stunning source material. Speaking Minds is the union of Simone Sinatti and Marco Paladin, an Italian pair that has released on this label before now. Their version of 'Kosmatic' is a slow burning, spiritually arresting track that is epic in the most reserved of ways. With slithering synth lines and reflective chords it lulls you into a trance and sooth your mind with its lush sense of musicality. System of Survival is another Italian pair, this time made up of Alex Carpentieri and Pietro De Lisi. They are veterans of labels like Get Physical and BPitch Control and their remix of Great Escape feat. Ony is a groovy, organic affair with warm chords, romantic vibes and loose limbed precision in its bones. Whispered vocals add a steamy sexiness and it's a standout track as a result. And so to Nitin, a key member of the MFR family and a revered talent who also lights up his No 19 Music label which he co-owns with Art Department's Jonny White. His revision of 'Wherewe' feat. Nanni is a lumpy and bumpy deep house roller with smeared chords, a sense of late night laziness to it and a wealth of human chords that strike right at your heart. It's magical and memorable in equal measure. Last but not least, Spaniard Daniel Kyo has emerged as a fine modern day beat maker thanks to outings on Poker Flat and Sincopat, as well as for his charismatic DJ sets along side the likes of Carl Craig and Larry Heard as resident at Minicab in his native Valencia. He has also headlined places like Panorama Bar in Berlin so is very much an ascending 2015 star. He tackles 'Spacestation' feat. Symbol and flips it into a gurgling, slow mo, no wave disco track with ticking arps, sticky drums and dreamy, drifting vocals that are sure to soundtrack many a great summer party. This is a fantastic package that not only reminds us how great the originals were, but that also proves MFR has its finger on the pulse when it comes to talented remixes from around the world.

A location no one ever goes to, a destination unreachable by common means, but a place blurring the lines between having a dream and a state of mind. Welcome to Talabout.  

Stavroz managed to create a wholesome, comforting soundtrack for a place, which no words can describe. Take a rest, lay down, close your eyes and listen to a story told in an orchestral fashion, with such profession and ear for details like Luise never heard before. With this in mind, we took Ecuadorian sound-seer Nicola Cruz’s latest audiovisions and refracted them through the minds of some of the world’s hottest young cultural interpreters. To provide you with the best possible approximation of what the results feel like, we then sent an intern to loiter outside a local Heart-Opening Ceremony to get people’s unfiltered reactions just moments after they awakened to their new place in the universal order. Sol Selectas is a label dedicated to melody rich dance music with tribal rhythms and ethnic grooves. The label is run by American artist Sabo and this new Sol Selectas release titled Summer Sol II, is a collection of tracks from around the globe. The twenty three track compilation features music from the likes of Nicola Cruz, Noema premiered here, plus many of the labels' favourite artists, and some fresh new faces. The music on this release takes influence from the folk law of many different cultures, and fuses it with contemporary electronic beats. I'm Bahri Yüksel, known by my stage name Jaarmon. My introduction to music and the initiation of my DJ career dates back to 2012 in Ankara. My interest in electronic music took shape by drawing inspiration from maestros of that era such as Koze, Nicolas Jaar, David August, and Four Tet, who significantly influenced the foundation of my musical journey.

In the music scene of Ankara, I laid the groundwork for my career by performing in prominent clubs like Kite, Pixel, Riff, Haze Daze. During this period, I had the privilege of participating in major festivals like Sonance Festival and A Teste of Summer.

In 2016, my sets were featured on digital platforms such as Fg Radio and Radio IFlim. Subsequently, I continued my career in Istanbul, delivering performances at renowned venues like Suma Beach, Birdy Pera, Cue, Fırın, Kiki, Geyik, Kasette, Setup, Tavern, Parallele, and House of Superstep.

My repertoire spans a wide spectrum, blending genres like house, disco, soul disco, deep, and Asian sounds, creating a unique composition to offer a distinctive experience to the audience.

Over the past year, while residing in Asia, I have immersed myself in cultural experiences. This period has fueled my focus on music production, drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of cultural interactions. I perceive music as an expression of infinite vibrations and a holographic interpretation that reflects the soul through the fusion of sound and visuals.

Music, for me, holds a special significance as a grand art form that enhances, heals, and enriches human consciousness. I believe that genres and movements contribute significantly to human development, making the profession a transformative and uplifting journey. Shaping my career in line with these principles, I am continually nourished by the universality and depth of music.
