The Meditators is a 7 piece Roots Reggae Band based in Durban South Africa. The band was founded in 1991, led by Ras Shante Bekwa on lead vocals and guitar, lyrics and composition. The band has been resident at uShaka Marine World since 2004 and has opened shows for the likes of LKJ Lynton Kwesi Johnson, Tony Rebel, Queen Ifrica, Rita Marley and I threes, Parlotones, Mango Groove, Jeremy Loops, and recently supported UB40 in Durban and  Pretoria in March 2018. The bands 5th Album has just been nominated for SAMA. We wish the band the best of luck!!
