I think the music from the series was some of the best synth stuff from the 80's.

oh! so the tripode sound in the remake of "War of the Worlds" wasn't an original idea? You can hear this sound in all Hollywood movies hear and there still.Anyway...Nice remix!!

An atmospheric intro as the machines approach and echo their eerie call leading into the main opening theme, then a bridged piece leading into the closing theme.  A marvellous mid-80s heavy-synth score written and performed by Ken Freeman.
