The Michaels Were a punk band based in Newcastle upon Tyne, consisting of 5 diverse multi-instrumentalists. They prided themselves on their original use of comical lyrics based on *somewhat* true events. With catchy instrumentals. The Michaels took inspiration from Toy Dolls, Jilted John and Sex Pistols. No one in this band was called Michael.
