Après l’explosif Fire Drop en 2022, Ashkabad fait son retour avec Outernational Skankers: un album de remixes célébrant le dub sous toutes ses coutures. Fidèle à sa vision d'exploration, le groupe a fait appel à une constellation d'artistes pour revisiter les morceaux de leur premier album International Skankers qui avait marqué les esprits lors de sa sortie en 2016.
A l’affiche Ondubground, Alpha Steppa, Tetra Hydro K, Woody Vibes, Bukkha, Egoless, Ramiya et Organized Bazar ! Chacun des artistes a insufflé sa propre identité aux morceaux originaux. Le résultat est une riche palette sonore où chaque remix est une escale unique, un dialogue entre les influences classiques et les nouvelles vagues du genre. 
En somme, Outernational Skankers est bien plus qu'un simple album de remixes. C'est un hommage vibrant à la culture dub et une démonstration éclatante de son pouvoir universel. Les fans de dub, anciens et nouveaux, y trouveront leur compte.
