This new Acid Avengers EP is a diagonal trip from South-East to North-West of Europe. Malta-based producer Acidulant (Balkan Vinyl, Acidworx, Jack Trax) and Brittany-based producer Voiron (Nocta Numerica, Analogical Force, Rave or Die) join their forces and deliver a six-tracks EP combining UK rave, melancholic electro, catchy techno, oldschool breaks, and of course much TB-303. Rave on !

As we were afraid that the movement would run out of steam, we thought of a compilation whose profits would be donated to the strike funds.

Beyond the financial help, the objective of this compilation is above all to keep the flame alive, to remotivate the people and to bring support to the strikers.

Last Wednesday, in a hurry, we proposed to DÔME artists to compose tracks from speeches and popular protest songs, so that they could accompany Vulve Assassine and Dalle Béton on Thursday's strike and the following ones!

Following the lost of our sweet raver and Astropolis co-founder Matthieu, we hesitated to release this compilation, but the situation is urgent and we are sure that these great edits would have amused Matthieu a lot.

So here is a 5-track compilation, featuring what we hear and shout every week in the street in a dance version, hence the name "Manif Hits".

S.R. gives us the urge to revolt with "Metro, Boulot, Caveau", Jonfaustus delivers a terribly effective electroclash version of "Les jeunes dans la galère, les vieux dans la misère...", René Danger and the students of the Beaux Arts du Mans on the chorus unite in a Steve Reich / clapping style, Swing Loww underlines the lack of empathy of the leaders, and Blutch covers "à cause de Macron" of the feminist collective Les Rosies in a disco/house way.

AVNU returns to the Ellum collective, dropping a new single in advance of his second full-length album ‘Crisis In the Simulation’ due on the Ellum this Spring. ‘Next Caller’ comes backed with a remix from another Ellum stalwart, Raxon.

Based in Scotland, DJ & producer AVNU has been deeply immersed in music for over two decades, taking inspiration from the warm tones of blues to the hard cuts from the rave and all points in between. Latest collaborations with Maceo Plex on his new album ‘93’ (‘Clickbait’, ‘Serpent Jazz’ and ‘Go Back’ feat. Desire) and remixes of Tyler Hill and Madben have solidified his association with the Ellum and Lone Romantic labels.

On his new single ‘Next Caller’, the talented producer whips up a progressive and chunky club track laced with dark energy. Raxon’s accompanying remix provides a nuanced slant on the original, kitted out with chunky drums and catchy loops to compliment the thick bassline rhythms of the original.

The Mntlst, DJ & Producteur, membre fondateur du KDF Sound System, j'ai commencé à liver dans de nombreuses rave-party du Rhone - Alpes dans le milieu des années 2000 sur de nombreux sound system (Grillons, PPGC, Zanonym, Tributek...), avec une tribe très mental... Debut 2010, je me tourne plus vers le mix et d'autre style  j'explore la d'n'b, le dubstep, l'electro, et je joue mes sets dans de nombreux lieux(squat, bar, club, festival) un peu partout en france... Mes principaux fait d'armes sont le Festival d'Aurillac, FestBouc, l'Electropow(Ch)... J'ai croisé sur ma route des artistes comme Dub Invaders, Dub Addict, General Hydrophonick, Tetra Hydro k, Mawimbi, Panda Dub, Mempamal, Zenzile, Burning Heads et plein d'autres... En 2016 je retrouve mon premier amour la techno, et le projet The Mntlst est né,  je vous laisse découvrir mon univers.....
