Hi, I’m Matt, Matty, or Matt’s.  Talking Heads, a band I loved as a teen, wrote a song called "Give Me Back My Name" with lyrics that have always stuck with me:  "Some things can never be spoken Some things cannot be pronounced That word does not exist in any language It will never be uttered by a human mouth."  These lines resonate deeply because they reflect how I see music: a universal translator for what words cannot express.

I’m reaching out to collaborate with artists who share a vision of creating something that transcends boundaries—be it in music, art, or storytelling. Together, I believe we can weave narratives that connect deeply with others, pulling from our unique backgrounds and perspectives.  Personally, I love the piano, though I’ve only admired it from afar. I once encouraged my eldest daughter to learn it to fill the gap of my own unlearned skill. That experience taught me that it’s not someone else’s responsibility to express what’s within me—it’s my need, my voice, and my desire to share the maps of my internal landscape.  Music explains. Music connects. Music entertains. I want to collaborate with others who feel the same—a connection through sound and emotion.
