Galactic Raga is the lead song on The Moonrays' CD called Galactic Surf. This was recorded at Chrysler Studios by famed sound engineer, Bill Chrysler. The project was finished at Grand Rapids own Mackinaw Harvest Music Studios by Michael Crittenden. The hypnotic beat of the bass and drums provides the perfect backdrop for the raw aggressive power of lead guitarist Fitz Green. As you listen to the song, you will hear the lead guitar take on many different sounds that will have you believe you are listening to a guitar, synthesizer and organ. All sounds are created by Fitz, on the fly, from his vintage, heavily worn 1961 Fender Jazz Master Guitar through his 1958 and 1960 amplifiers. Its an amazing song to hear on the CD and even more amazing to watch live.
