"Tick Tock"

The Muskrats are a "Virtual" and self-proclaimed "Mediocre" band that hail from Los Angeles, CA. The three members of the band are: Ziggy (vocalist and guitarist), Buttons (guitarist and sound mixer) and Chez (drummer). The Muskrats is the creation of myself, Nzephany Madrigal Uzoka, an L.A. based illustrator and all round Artist. 
   It is my love for music and Art that inspired this project to be conceived. Even though I never really aspired to take on music professionally, I still love to make it, as it is very therapeutic for my body and spirit. Because I am influenced and inspired by various kinds of music, (the Gorillaz, for mention of one) it is my goal to have The Muskrats express themselves musically in such manner, hence I describe them as an experimental band not conforming to a specific genre, though (as it can't be helped) there is an obvious heavy Alternative rock presence in the music they play. The Muskrats don't consider themselves profound musicians hence the self proclamation of being mediocre, regardless they have fun and enjoy the music they make from its creative process to the final outcome. I have so much fun making the music (vocals and playing all the instruments/ producing) and creating the art work for the videos, but kudos also goes to the young genius that is my brother Roman Madrigal who is responsible for bringing my artwork to life with his amazing animations talents. We are both very pleased with what we have accomplished and hope that our band and its music inspires others as well.
