The N, é o alter ego para um dos projectos de djing de Nuno Matias. Nascido em 1974, deu os seus primeiros passos na música aos 5 anos com um Sintetizador Portasound de uma marca bem conhecida.Assistiu ao primeiro concerto de Fisher Z com 9 anos e nunca mais parou.O tempo foi passando e o gosto pela música continuou a crescer, levando-o a experiências musicais com várias bandas em variados projectos.É com 16 anos que faz a sua primeira aparição como Dj, na discoteca Whispers, onde foi residente durante alguns anos, demarcando-se dos demais Djs pela suas animaçoes arrojadas. Passou por várias casas como o Whispers, Alcântara Terra,Indochina,Mantra Club e a Gartejo e participou em diversos eventos em varios paises como Tunisia, Cabo Verde, Andorra e Rep.Dominicana.Nunca enveredando a 100% pela carreira de dj, fruto das suas actividades profissionais, The N sempre cativou o publico das casas onde tocou, revelando uma sensibilidade impar, e uma cultura musical acima da média.Em 1996 abre a sua propria produtora, , que o levou a produzir alguns eventos para clubes, televisão e rádio fruto das relações de trabalho e amizade com Miguel Dias e Hugo Franco, fundadores da banda Mercuriocromos, mas foi a ida a Ibiza que o fez querer seguir o caminho do Electro House, que é sua imagem de marca.Após recusar vários convites, foi durante 12 anos dj residente no Cabana Beach Bar, onde era responsável pela programação, tendo co produzido algumas das melhores Beach Partys dos ultimos anos, levando assim ao rubro os muitos que passaram por aquela casa de praia. Ao longo dos últimos anos, tem tocado com nomes como ThenameisPaul, Luis Leite, Paulo Leite, Geninho, Pedro Tabuada, Magillian, Rita X_Craft, Zé Black, Stereo Addiction, Daveed, The Work,Baby Bis, Lady M, MDusa, Filipe Folk, Gilvaia, Hallux, Poppy, Paul Darey, Oskar Dj, Mark Rizzo, Diamond V, David Herrera, Mario Roque, Nox,etc.Esteve ligado a alguns eventos com djs internacionais em casas como o Op Art em Lisboa, fruto da sula ligação à Best Travel, patrocinadora dos eventos. O ano de 2008, fica marcado pelas parcerias com os djs Z Durão e thenameisPaul aka Paulo Costa ex vocalista dos Ritual Tejo, e pelos eventos Café Mambo World Tour e Salvation Tour El Divino, que pela primeira vez trouxeram o espirtio de Ibiza a Portugal, fruto da sua colaboração e co produção com a Tribe Records.2008 foi também o ano de arranque de algumas produções musicais deste dj lisboeta, que de momento se encontra em estúdio, após a sua saida do Cabana Beach Bar. Fruto ainda da sua experiencia e polivalência, ainda arranja tempo, para fazer o gosto ao dedo com noites de rock em parceria com Antonio Machado e o projecto Back2Back, Paulo Costa e o Grupo Private, tendo mesmo a critica especializada, comentado como 5 estrelas as duas noites na discoteca Indochina. Em finais de Junho 2009 termina o seu primeiro release original "Good Times!
A aposta na produção de eventos, é neste momento o seu Core Business, tendo feito algumas parcerias de sucesso , nomeadamente com a Ritmo Global e Soundcheck.
Depois da pandemia esteve como residente no Zen Lounge em Santo André, e ingressou no novo Bahia Beach Club.
Produziu dois remixs de Verao, que passam nas pista durante este verão de 2023.
