This Bengali bhajan ~ Jaya Jaya Jagannatha glorifying the Lord of the Universe Sri Jagannatha by Vasudeva Gosha is performed by His Grace Swarupa Damodar Prabhu.

jaya jaya jagannātha sacīra nandan 
tribhūvana kore jār caraṇa vandan.
 All glories, all glories to the dear son of Jagannatha Misra and Saci Devi! All the three worlds offer prayers unto His lotus feet.

nilācale sańkha-cakra-gadā-padma-dhar 
nādiyā nagare daṇḍa-kamaṇḍalu-kar.
In Nilacala He holds the conchshell, disc, club, and lotus flower, while in the town of Nadiya He holds a sannyasi staff and waterpot.

keho bole purabete rāvaṇa badhila 
goloker vaibhava lilā prakāśa korila.
 It is said that in olden times, as Lord Ramacandra, He killed the demon Ravana. Then later, as Lord Krsna, He revealed the splendrously opulent pastimes of Goloka.

śri-rādhār bhāve ebe gorā avatār 
hare kṛṣṇa nām gaura korila pracār.
 It is He who has come. He has come! Oh, from Vraja He has come to Nadiya. Accepting the mood and luster of Sri Radha, He has come from Vraja to Nadiya. He has come! Now Lord Govinda, the cowherd boy, has come as Lord Gauranga. He has come distributing the Hare Krsna Mahamantra!

Perpetually immersed in singing, dancing, and heartfelt singing, Kīrtan [of the name, form, qualities, pastimes, associates, and realm] of Shrī Krishna, the six Goswāmīs embody the ocean of nectarean love. Dear to both gentlemen and ruffians, always engaged in pleasing activities, and completely free from envy, they are adored by all. They are the recipients of Shrī Chaitanya’s mercy, and they therefore remove the burden of the earth. I worship Shrī Rūpa, Shrī Sanātana, Shrī Raghunātha Bhatta, Shrī Raghunātha dāsa, Shrī Jīva, and Shrī Gopāla Bhatta [the six Goswāmīs].
 
They are distinctively expert in ascertaining the essence of all revealed scriptures, and they establish the supreme occupation of the soul, devotion to God. They are the true benefactors of the people, worshipful for the three worlds, and affectionate to those who have taken shelter of them. Due to the bliss of divine service, bhajana, on the lotus feet of Shrī Rādhā-Krishna, they have become like intoxicated honeybees. I worship Shrī Rūpa, Sanātana, Raghunātha Bhatta, Raghunātha dāsa, Jīva, and Gopāla Bhatta Goswāmīs. 

They fully abandoned at once the association of kingly aristocracy, deeming it insignificant, and out of compassion became poor, accepting only loincloths and ragged quilts. Thereafter, they repeatedly immersed themselves in the delightful, billowing waves in the nectarean ocean of rasa—the bhāvs, spiritual emotions, felt by the gopīs. I worship Shrī Rūpa, Sanātana, Raghunātha Bhatta, Raghunātha dāsa, Jīva, and Gopāla Bhatta Goswāmīs.

Crowded with sweetly cooing cuckoos, swans, and cranes, as well as groups of peacocks, Vrindāvan a is shining beautifully with trees that have many transcendental gems inlaid beneath their roots. There, day and night, the Goswāmīs intensely worship Shrī Shrī Rādhā and Krishna, thus endowing all the souls with the ultimate benefit of life. I worship Shrī Rūpa, Sanātana, Raghunātha Bhatta, Raghunātha dāsa, Jīva, and Gopāla Bhatta Goswāmīs.

They would pass their time by daily chanting a fixed number of holy names, singing particular songs, and offering regulated obeisances [prostrating themselves to the ground like a stick in reverence thousands of times in a day to all the Saints, Deities, and Lord’s pastime places]. Thus they fully conquered the urges of eating, sleeping, recreation, and so forth. Always considering themselves to be unlimitedly lowly and insignificant, they became enchanted in sweet rapture by remembering Shrī Rādhā-Krishna’s qualities. I worship Shrī Rūpa, Sanātana, Raghunātha Bhatta, Raghunātha dāsa, Jīva, and Gopāla Bhatta Goswāmīs.

Wandering along the banks of Rādhā-kunda or the Yamuna, and sometimes at Vamshivata, they would be forever seized by limitless transcendental states, intoxicated by the utter madness of prema. Blissfully overwhelmed, they would jubilantly sing about the exalted qualities of Shrī Hari. I worship Shrī Rūpa, Sanātana, Raghunātha Bhatta, Raghunātha dāsa, Jīva, and Gopāla Bhatta Goswāmīs..

“O Rādhā, queen of Vrindāvan a! O Lalitā! O son of Nanda Mahārāj! Where are You? Are You beneath the wish-fullfilling trees of Shrī Govardhana Hill? Or are you in the forests on the banks of the Kalindi river?” Thus calling out, greatly overwhelmed in separation, they would wander throughout the length and breadth of Vraja-mandala. I worship Shrī Rūpa, Sanātana, Raghunātha Bhatta, Raghunātha dāsa, Jīva, and Gopāla Bhatta Goswāmīs.

TRANSLATION
(Introductory Verse)
The glorious Rama once visited Ahobala, where He saw the deity of Lord Nrsimha. He offered His obeisances to Lord Kamalapati (husband of the goddess of fortune) and prayed as follows.
 
1) O Govinda, Kesava, Janardana, Vasudeva, Visvesa (the controller of the universe), Visva, Madhusudana, Visvarupa, Sri Padmanabha, Purusottama, Puskaraksa, Narayana, Acyuta. O Lord Nrsimha I offer my respectful obeisances unto You again and again.
 
2) I have taken shelter of Lord Nrsimha unto whose lotus feet demigods, prominent yogis, gandharvas, vidyadharas and kinnaras, are constantly offering their obeisances.
 
3) I have taken shelter of Lord Nrsimha by whose mercy people receive all the Vedas, the essence of all scriptures, knowledge, strength, reputation and wealth.
 
4) You are Lord Brahma, Lord Siva and the best person Lord Narayana. You are the master of the Marutas and You are the sun, the moon, air and the fire as well as the Marut -ganas. I offer my obeisances unto You.
 
5) I offer my obeisances unto Lord Nrsimha who is the creator, the maintainer and the destroyer of the entire universe. Although You perform all of these three acts simultaneously You are completely beyond these activities. You are the all pervading, unlimited supreme spirit.
 
(Concluding Verses)
Praying this way the best of the Raghus, Lord Ramacandra worshipped Lord Hari. At that time the demigods showered a rain of flowers on the head of Lord Nrsimhadeva.
 
This is the best of prayers, called pancamrta or five nectars compiled by Lord Rama Himself. One who reads this will be liberated eternally.
