As The Natini Hour continued its month-long programming of Painting the Airwaves Pink in October, we spoke with the President of Avon Foundation for Women, Carol Kurzig. She talked to us last Sunday, October 28th, just as Hurricane Sandy was about to reach NYC.  Ms. Kurzig talked to us about the impact of the work the organization is doing on behalf of breast cancer, domestic violence and disaster relief.

We welcomed special guest, Jennifer Johnson, Executive Director from Young Survival Coalition, Kansas City. She is a breast cancer survivor, having been diagnosed when she was 27 years old - and 22 weeks pregnant. There are approx. 13k women under the age of 45 who will be Diagnosed with breast cancer this year. Listen as Jennifer shares important information and stories of strength, courage and hope.
