For Crack Mix 400, we're celebrating clubs and nightlife culture across the world with a series of archive mixes.

This recording documents a “particularly packed and sweaty one” in September 2018, when local selector Ribeka joined club mainstay Call Super for an intimate rinse out at Glasgow's La Cheetah. Ribeka warms up for the first 90 minutes before Call Super takes over to close.

Third episode of CALL NOW! S03 invites the powerful Zozo aka @zozo-on-soundcloud  serving a narrative mix that blends contrasting styles and textures and slips easily between tempos, from atmospheric to dancefloor-oriented but always with an eclectic touch.

Beside being a music curator and a selector dj, Zozo is a multidisciplinary character who loves music, works for design, art, music industry. 

She has brought her versatile taste to iconic dance floors as Panorama Bar, Contact Tokyo, De School, Ankali Prague, Robert Johnson or Salon des Amateurs. She is also a regular in high-rated festivals as Berlin Atonal, Primavera Sound, Waking Life, Lente Kabinet, Flow Festival, Strange Sounds From Beyond, Dekmantel and its Selectors offshoot. 

She's also a part of the Lyon based label & dj crew Macadam Mambo and resident of Berlin institution Sameheads. Also a member of electronic music and art collective ‘Les Belles De Nuit’ founded in Zurich, supporting women and queer artists.

We've not uploaded one of these live recordings for a while as we assumed people might not care to hear recordings of our nights (which in truth never do quite capture the crazy atmosphere we seem to generate) but...people do seem to like them and have been asking for them...so...due to popular demand, here's last Saturday's Wrong Party....it was a particularly wild and sweaty hoedown, even by our own standards. dedicated to the free spirited vibe of Camp Cosmic,
a festival curated from Albion which takes place in the 
sweden countryside where tribes of music-lovers from all 
over the world head to for a few days of otherwordly 
experiences during mid summer for an amazing 3 days time.

he plays much more slower and spacey with different ideas.

reaction and interaction that can be enjoyed in a state of 
mind-body integrated euphoria without thinking about this

the 2nd segment from our new series focusing on 
rare vinyl from the basement/vaults,cd and music material from the headquarters and recording 
studio of Nation focuses on Dj Rush.

Born in Chicago (USA), he grew up on the South Side 
and started to party at a very young age, immediately 
picking up on the fever of the music.
He would attend clubs like The Ringzone, Playground, 
The Candystore and The Music Box. Before he began 
playing gigs in Chicago,he started making tracks in his 
bedroom with his friends' sinsonic drums.

In 1989 Rush had his first residency in a club called 
The Reactor in Chicago playing 70's disco for a crowd of 800, 
including 10 hour non-stop sets for party kids.
He then continued to play for the famous Medusa club, 
Power House, Music Box, and Warehouse quickly becoming 
a central figure in Chicago's house scene.

Rush's uniqueness and individuality has always been portrayed 
in his productions and djing. "Not letting the music control me, 
but letting the music guide me"

In Majors' own words, "It's always important and interesting 
to make music according to your feelings and experiences” 
that he does playing with voices and percussion that are both 
wicked and legendary in his many releases.

Traxx presents a selection of his favorite productions all 
created in Chicago with a powerful and energetic journey 
into his psyche of sound alongside the last moral leader of Truth; 
Martin Luther King Jr with word insight of right now.
