Ahead of their 15th anniversary, @100percentsilk have assembled Late Shift Silk, a collection of tracks from a group of mostly new, and some familiar, names to the label. Label favourites such as Charles A.D. and Shine Grooves stand alongside new additions to the roster such as Warden and Dorosoto. The compilation is less a look in the rearview mirror than it is a map of the road ahead. 

Japanese producer @yamaan may be familiar to listeners for a 2020 cassette release on Tokyo’s Dotei Records, as well as lush, ambient leaning hip hop as part of CHIYORI × YAMAAN. They kick off ‘Late Shift Silk’ with “Night Flight”, an appropriately low slung slice of airborne techno navigating smooth, star-filled skies.
