I moved to California; it has everything I need.
Don't need a job or money, my kind of place indeed.
It's all there for the taking, just need to keep it small.
As long as no one gets hurt, they hardly care at all.

Tomorrow is a workday together with the crew.
We got another mall to hit; we'll grab what's ever new.
We'll meet with no resistance; the cops won't take the call.
We'll sell it on the internet and make a decent haul.

Opportunity knocks everyday all around.
Thanking my lucky stars for the bounty I've found.

Walk into the diner; fried eggs with ham and cheese.
The coffee's tasting oh so good; a re-fill if you please.
Read the morning paper and when I'm finally done.
Head out to the exit and out the door I run.

I head off to the market to get some things I need.
Some lettuce and tomato; some English breakfast tea.
A box of instant Ramen; a bag of whole wheat bread.
No need for the checkout; I'm out the door instead.

Now something for the girlfriend, her birthday's getting near.
Maybe some new jewelry to dangle from her ear.
Putting on my mask and hat, there's cameras don't you know.
Do a little smash and grab and out the door I'll go.
