We have condensed the oldest and longest (at 13,000+ words) poetic drama ever composed, entitled the Epic of Gilgamesh. 

The Epic is about the first and original hero ...of those “with a thousand faces”, the term coined by the mythologist Joseph Campbell, to indicate that there were more mythological heroes who underwent similarly challenging rite-of-passage quests after Gilgamesh. There were heroes like Hercules, Jason, Theseus and Odysseus, Buddha, Pinocchio in fact, and even Bob Dylan sung of his own hero's journey in his song Isis on the album Desire. King Arthur and Merlin also undertook a heroic quest in the Celtic myths, a sea voyage around the pole stars. 

But Gilgamesh is the prototype, and his epic journey requires him to “tread the rim of the wheel”. In my book, Stories in the Stars, I re-interpret the translations of the cuneiform on the Babylonian tablets to show that this "wheel's rim" symbolises the ring of the zodiac constellations in the stars, and so that’s also reflected in our track.

The latest release on Future Avenue welcomes Carlos Luna from Mexico to the label with his To Heal EP. Featuring an original track full of emotional depth, the EP also includes three remixes by talented producers: Dutch artist Lark Rise, Luis del Vecchio from Brazil, and Carlos's countryman Zstimer, each bringing their unique touch to the project.

Carlos Luna grew up surrounded by musical talent, finding inspiration in a variety of genres and instruments from a young age. He began his journey in electronic music as a DJ in 2009, inspired by the vibrant energy of the scene. Over time, his passion for music led him to dive deeper, drawing from his experiences in neuroscience and exposure to diverse styles and cultures. This evolution transformed Carlos into a fully-fledged artist, first as part of the Minders duo and now under his own name, where he aims to express an ancient yet new musical language. As co-owner of the Deep Dip label, Carlos brings a 'ritual-like' experience to both his productions and DJ sets, ensuring that every journey he creates is a profound and expansive ride.
