Unbeyond Anthologies are thrilled to welcome label inductee Cynik and Loozei to the label with their first release “Familiarity”.

This immersive drum & bass banger, which has left an imprint on the speakers of everyone who’s gotten a chance to play it prior to release, is a masterclass in meditative melody-writing and deep bass, capped off with crisp, driving, and groovy percussion.

“We started this song basically on a whim,” said Cynik. “Loozei had shown me the original WIP that eventually became the first drop, and we decided to make the WIP into ‘Familiarity’. Loozei took over the first drop, while I worked my magic onto the second drop and intro. Pretty much the entire process, really.”

With a mix of beauty and contemplation, “Familiarity” is an impactful single that you’ll certainly remember for a while.

Unbeyond Anthologies welcome X to the label for its new release “cognition”.

Ambient verses accompanied by distorted spoken word are the perfect tone setter for this gnarly bass banger, which plunges into jittery, technological drops that stay varied and surprising throughout.

“The making of ‘cognition’ marked the official beginning of me experimenting with my sound and heading in more experimental directions,” said X on the subject of its new single. “I walked into this project with no real vision or idea of what was going to happen and let things take its course; having fun with music as I've been aiming to do for quite a while now.”

X’s boundless talent has delivered a truly singular track, one that defies expectations and imparts instantly memorable and textured heaviness on the listener’s mind.
